The Tide Pools
Eight tide pools lie in a line along the rocks. Each is marked with the exact distance a crab must leap from it: 2, 3, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 1, reading from the first pool to the last.
From a pool marked k the crab leaps exactly k pools forward or back, always landing on a pool, never past either end.
Starting on the first pool, what is the fewest leaps to reach the last?
Leap from the first pool to the last in as few leaps as you can.
The number on the frog's current pad is the exact jump length. Tap a landing pad that many spaces forward or backward; tap the previous pad to undo.
Tap pads to build a jump route from pad 1 to pad 8. Each leap must travel the exact distance painted on the current pad, forward or backward, and land on a pad that is not murky. Your route so far is 0 leaps and has not yet reached the goal.
